Ningbo Plant Phase I Facility Successfully Restarts with Stable Operation

After an extended period of operation, the company decided to conduct maintenance and technical upgrades on the Phase I PDH (Propane Dehydrogenation) unit at Ningbo New Materials in March this year. From its initial startup in October 2022 until March this year, the unit achieved a cumulative safe and stable operation period of 895 days. This operational milestone surpassed the company’s previous record of 22 months and set a new global record for the longest continuous runtime of a PDH unit.During this period, through continuous R&D, repeated testing, and ongoing optimization, the company successfully produced 21 different grades of PP (Polypropylene) products on a single production line, with a cumulative total output of 1.068 million tons. Meanwhile, the Phase III PP unit at Ningbo New Materials also set a new record in the licensor’s project history by achieving 1,000 days of continuous operation.

During the shutdown process, 680 tons of propane and 120 tons of propylene were recovered through process switching and technical modifications.
