Reducing Emissions by 10,000 Tons and Consumption by 1,000 Tons: Ningbo Facility's Energy-Saving Upgrades Show Significant Results

In active response to the national call for promoting green and low-carbon development in the manufacturing industry, the company made a decisive decision at the beginning of the year and invested 17.9 million yuan to implement an energy-using equipment upgrade project. By introducing advanced high-efficiency energy-saving equipment and phasing out inefficient energy-consuming devices, the project deeply tapped into the energy-saving potential of the equipment. Following this upgrade, the factory reduced its energy consumption by 4,991 tons of standard coal equivalent, achieving annual savings of 78,838 gigajoules (GJ) of steam energy and 2.4696 million normal cubic meters (Nm³) of fuel gas, while cutting carbon dioxide emissions by 13,000 tons.

At the same time, the company closely followed national policy trends and proactively communicated with （people in charge of ）relevant business early on. Through data collection and a systematic application process, the company submitted materials for the ultra-long-term government bond subsidy. After a rigorous, multi-level review and evaluation process from district to provincial levels, the application was successfully approved.
