‌Orietal Energy Maoming Base Organizes Coastal Ecological Restoration Volunteer Event at Jida Bay‌

On Arbor Day, March 12, 2025, Oriental Energy Maoming Base actively responded to the Guangdong Provincial Department of Natural Resources' requirements on coastline ecological compensation by organizing employees to carry out a volunteer ecological restoration activity in Maoming’s Jida Bay Ecological Reserve. Under the theme "Fulfilling Ecological Responsibilities, Jointly Building a Green and Beautiful Bay Area," the initiative contributed to coastline ecological protection and restoration through practical actions.

This initiative was launched in response to the company's occupation of a portion of the natural mainland coastline during the construction of the #1 General Berth Project at East 1 Port Basin and the Phase I Pipeline Corridor Project in the Eastern Operation Zone of Jida Port Area, Maoming Port. In accordance with the "Interim Measures for Coastline Ecological Compensation and Balancing," enterprises are required to restore an equivalent length of coastline through ecological rehabilitation. To fulfill this obligation, the company proactively formulated a restoration plan, designating Jida Bay as the target area. By implementing measures such as mangrove afforestation, the project aims to enhance the coastal ecosystem and protect biodiversity.

Oriental Energy integrates ecological responsibility into its development strategy, demonstrating commitment through concrete actions. The company is pioneering a green development model that harmonizes production, ecology, and community life, contributing corporate strength to the advancement of marine ecological civilization.
